Amy’s Friday Watercolor

I teach every Friday from 1-4p at the Olympia Center. Class is offered through me not the Center. This is an ongoing class that is typically full, but you may contact me if you are interested in being put on a wait-list. Occasionally there is a spot that opens. During the Winter and into Spring we have been painting Water, beginning with Snow and Ice in Dec, moving to Quiet Water (lakes, ponds, puddles) in February, Moving Water (creeks, ocean waves) in March, Under Water (invertebrates and other sea life) in April.

In May I will introduce a new topic – Realism to Abstraction…the process of deconstructing an image in order to learn more about the how line, shape, color, texture, and value influence composition.

Summer we paint outdoors at various locations.

In Autumn I might be adding a Friday morning, 6-week class 10-noon, covering Watercolor Pigments, Color Theory and Limited Palettes. Let me know if you would be interested in being put on the list for this class.

Thanks

Amy
